Bandhavgarh Jungle Lodge provide sophisticated, environmentally friendly experience of untamed beauty of Bandhavgarh National Parks. The Jungle lodges were the signature creation of visionary Late Mr. Pradeep Sankhala, in his endeavor to promote eco viable and earthy tourism.
The lodge is built with minimum interference to the natural environment of the jungle and is managed on eco friendly principles. The whole experience of your wilderness gets enriched with the naturalist’s in-depth knowledge of the local flora & fauna. The lodges own wildlife experts are excellent in narrating and deeply believe that the knowledge is a treasure which increases with sharing. A trip with the inhouse naturalist to the jungle, not only leaves you with the sense of thrill and excitement but also deepens your wisdom lasting beyond your vacation. Trips are meant to heighten the individual’s pleasure, awareness and intellect.
Along with the resident naturalists, Bandhavgarh Jungle lodge also employs intern students from the globe through their training programme. Naturalist interns are hired for their interest, love and appreciation for nature and wildlife. The interns get an opportunity to stay and work alongside our resident naturalists in one of the highest density tiger reserves of the world.

One of the oldest mid-segment jungle lodges at the Tala area in Bandhavgarh National Park. 13 spacious cosy and comfortable independent Cottages, and 8 rooms in two separate villas, to make a total of 21 rooms, all in a typical Indian village theme, some around an inner courtyard. They have modern facilities with single, twin or double bedded rooms with reading lights, a writing table and chairs, large lugguage rack. Offering garden view, each room will provide you with a seating area. Private bathroom comes with free toiletries. Free internet is available in the public areas of the property.
The rooms are all with attached bathroom (all amenities) with hot and cold running water and showers, comfortably furnished even a hot water bottles are provided at night.
Recreational facilities include volleyball, badminton and indoor games such as chess. A DVD player and a library of wildlife films are also available. Offering garden view, each room will provide you with a seating area.
Food & Drink:
Spacious thatched dining room which serves home cooked Indian food and Continental cuisines which becomes the centre point of activities like campfire performances, lectures and star gazing. Packed lunches can be requested. Some part of the cooking for the Guests are done in two different types of Solar cookers. This helps minimize energy use and also food cooked is health and tasty. Guests can ask for cooking lessons for solar cooking.
Much of the fresh vegetables come from the organic farming at the Lodge. One can see a Varity of vegetables and fruits being cultivated . Guest are welcome to take a tour.
A large open dining cum common room serves as a dining area which seats 40. There is also a friendly open verandah to dine under the stars or to breakfast, in the soothing warm winter sun.
Their are 02 important airports for reaching Bandhavgarh i.e. Jabalpur and Khajuraho. Their are 03 important railway stations: Umaria Railway Station (37kms) & Katni Railway Junction (100kms/02:30hrs) and Jabalpur Railway Station (200kms/04:30hrs).
