There are three types of rooms here: Deluxe Club, Standard Club and Luxury Villa. The Luxury Villa comes with its own plunge pool and sun deck. Each air-conditioned room features a desk, a seating area with sofa, a wardrobe, a flat-screen TV, a minibar, tea/coffee maker, electrobic safe and a dining area. En suite bathrooms contain complimentary toiletries. Luxury Villas (1,000 Sq. ft) exudes the looks and feel of a bygone era with wood and granite flooring, antique furniture, private courtyard, plunge pool, attached bath and dressing area.
The most interesting feature in the resort, however, is the 262ft swimming pool, which has been designed in the image of the temple tank of the Thirumalai Temple. Other facilities include babysitting service and high dining chairs for children.

The hotel has three dining venues: Banyan Restaurant, Swigg & Tee Bar and The Coffee Shop. The Swig & Tee, a well stocked bar accommodating 40 people indoors. The Banyan at Heritage Madurai overlooks an old banyan tree, from which it derives its name.It has a seating capacity of 25 to 90 people. Its Sri Lankan chef whips up Indian, continental and Chinese fare but the Chettinad dishes are highly recommended. Childrens menu available. Room service options are also available. Air Pegasus operates thrice-a-week return flight will operate on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The flight will leave Bengaluru at 10.40am and reach Madurai at 12noon. The return flight will leave Madurai at 12.30pm and reach Bengaluru at 1.50pm.
